“Powers has consistently been among the leading salesmen at the agency, with year-over-year revenue growth between 25 percent and 35 percent for each of the last five years. Powers specializes in property and casualty insurance brokerage for commercial clients, with an emphasis on workers compensation risk management — about 80 percent of his business comes from that segment. In addition, he helps manage workers compensation exposure through improved employee safety training and loss prevention, resulting in 75 percent or 80 percent in savings for some of his clients. Powers has achieved an average client retention rate of 92 percent. He currently manages about 250 clients.”
