Matt Skarin owner of the Skarin Agency and a Certified Insurance Counselor. He is a tremendous resource when it comes to developing and implementing strategic insurance/risk management programs centered around his client partners’ needs. Matt’s deep understanding of Manufacturing, Transportation, Nonprofit, and Real Estate insurance has garnered him a reputation for knowing how to build innovative plans that help propel his clients forward. Matt takes pride in creating Risk Management Programs that provide quality coverage and value to meet his clients’ needs. He takes his work a step further by recognizing opportunities and connecting these partner companies to each other. By building a culture of empowerment through his own team as well as these broader networks he’s working to promote positive change throughout his community. Matt’s work does not stop at the office door. You can find Matt volunteering his time as a board member for Towers of Excellence, working as a member of the St Louis Social Venture Partners, serving his other nonprofit partners, and as a member of the St Louis Apartment Association. He is also very active with St. Louis Bombers Rugby Club, where he played and led as a Captain and a Coach. You can also find Matt in a more family setting, hiking with their wife Adrienne, who is a mental health counselor at Queen of Peace, or coaching his son’s rugby team. Matt is a graduate of the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and DeSmet Jesuit High School in St Louis (so you don’t have to ask that question).
